PRAY PRAY PRAY OMG PRAY!
Aug. 20th, 2009 09:34 amThese signs are everywhere in Newport, Arkansas right now. Gee...do you think someone might be having a revival?

Please note 2 interesting facts:
1) There's a line that is supposed to be an EKG. However, a normal EKG has a slight upturn followed by a LARGE upturn, a drop below baseline usually equal to the large upturn, and another toss back up slightly above baseline. This has 3 upturns. I'm pretty sure this person is showing ST segment elevation. In other words...having a heart attack.
2) It says "Survival demands Revival" and then "the church straight-lined". Upon first glance this looks like they're saying the church should be straight lined, and in any other terminology I could see that. "The straight & narrow path" after all. But combined with an EKG? With an EKG, a straight line is the LAST thing you want! I thought last night they might be saying "the church is straight-lined and requires reviving", but Bryan thinks I'm giving the sign-person too much credit. He doesn't think they'd think of something like that. He'd know better than I do; he teaches at the high school & knows these people better.
