Clippybrooches for Nurses

Yes. Very nice. Very hospital, very boring. That would never do. So of course I had to fancy mine up a bit.
I did this the weekend after orientation, and wore it back to work the next week. I got a few compliments on it, and then someone asked me where I got it. "I made it," I replied, and then I had to show them the back to prove that it was the same old St. Bernard's clippy they all had. Of course that opened the floodgate, beginning with my nurse manager. "Could you do one in green & white?"
So this weekend I got a lot more stones & a lot more glitter paint, and here we have lots of clippybrooches for 2 North. :D Well, not only 2 North. From the back left we have pink/turquoise/silver for one of our UICs, rainbow/gold for a 2N nurse, pink/green/crystal for another 2N nurse. On the front left is autumn/gold for Q (she's on 2 Main), green/blue/white for my nurse manager, and purple/red/gold for one of the techs on 2N. I made one without stones, just in gold/black tiger stripes for Jennifer, my classmate-turned-coworker. She's got a thing for tigers. It's not up here because I had to hold it differently to paint it, & then I couldn't clip it on the album to dry it.
And of course I had to mess with these photos with TiltShiftGen. Because it's way too much fun not to. And it makes me look like a way better photographer than I am. *grin*
I think I might ask people for a donation of like a dollar to cover costs.
