 I'm so excited about our upcoming RV trip! Bryan has a training in Hot Springs; it's where the Arkansas School for Math, Science & the Arts is located, so as a math teacher, it's where most of his continuing education occurs. Ganon & I are going to go with him this time, & we're taking the RV! Bryan has the option of staying in the dorms at the school, but Ganon & I are going to camp at the KOA. It has a pool & wifi, and it's really close to Magic Springs/Crystal Falls, a combo amusement park/water park. $40 per night is a sight better than you can get from the vast majority of hotels!

I'm not having a great day today. I'm just baseline crabby and everything that goes wrong seems to stick out in my mind. First the farmer's market was sold entirely out of tomatoes. Then came the grocery trip where I realized I'd forgotten my wallet & had to put half my cart back so I could pay with a random MasterCard gift card I happened to have. Then when I tried to bake cookies (I was gonna bring some to Brigette, one of my coworkers who I haven't worked with in ages), they came out really crappy. Some of them were overbaked because I forgot to set the timer, and others just went flat & weird. I did something wrong, but I'm not sure what it was.

Day is looking up, though, because we're ordering Indian. Bryan is getting chicken vindaloo, and I'm getting chicken korma. I think now I'm going to take a moment to go & plug up my RV & sit in it while I research things to do in Hot Springs. :)

Hi Hillary, I'm pondhopper from LJ. I saw that you had deleted your LJ account and came here to see if you were posting here and you are! I had been missing you. I have subscribed to you here on DW and even though I just back up here every few weeks, I'd still like to keep contact if possible. I am also pondhopper here.
