Dec. 27th, 2010 08:26 pmSee there on the right? That fancy, free-hanging shelf thingy? This nifty looking item is for Bryan's console collection. The original Nintendo, the SNES, the Sega, they're all going on display on these open shelves, polished & shiny. More pics when we get them up here.
This is the most perfect possible display for these! It's very modern, which matches with the consoles themselves and the look of our house. When I saw it in IKEA, I did a double take. The one I saw was red, but it being IKEA I knew it would come in other colors, & when I checked, one of them was black! Perfect for our house, which is neutral beige (ahem, "nomadic tan") with black & dark red accents. My parents, aka the whirling dervishes of productivity, had it halfway up before they asked what was going on it. Hee hee hee.
