We've been updated on the house! The appraisal is done! The house appraised for higher than the selling price (it is only when it appraises for lower that there's some weirdness), so that's good. As of today, the loan went to the underwriter. Tomorrow I will let the mortgage company know what home insurance we'll be using, and they do something on the back end with that. They expect the loan back from the underwriter on Tuesday, and then we can close any time after that, I think!
THEN I CAN BEGIN TO BE RID OF THAT PINK CARPET.
I have not felt terribly well today. I think it's hormones. Everyone knows about PMS (duh) but in my case, hormones do not seem to affect my mood overly much. I have a tendency to get hard on myself when I'm PMSing, so that stinks, but with the help of my closest it's manageable. For me, PMS means a bunch of PHYSICAL symptoms...i.e., I get freaking sick once a month. -_- That is a pain in the face. Or in the lower intestine. OR BOTH.
I'm tooling around at home by myself. Ganon is over at Nana & Papa's house & Bryan is in parent/teacher conferences until 8pm. Just me, some coffee, & a package of TimTams! That's right, I found them in Target today! They're seasonal, October-March, and for the last 2 years they were only available in Target. This year the Caramel & Milk Chocolate varieties are available elsewhere, too, but you gotta hit Target for the Darks. Those are my favorite.
