Our winter wasn't horrid here; no ice storms and not really even a ton of snow. We did have a few snow days and tested out our new "AMI (alternate method of instruction) days" in the schools. It means we don't have to add days on to the end of the school year as long as the kids complete some work on the days they're home.

Despite the mild-ish winter, it's sure nice to look out my back window and see all the dark tree trunks against a background of bright green again!
