Well, the toy we've been playing with most is a "stick" manufactured with wood pulp in it so it smells like wood, but doesn't shred like the sticks Joe brings in from outside. Another option are those rawhides that ARE flavored like chicken or pork, but sometimes he doesn't want to give those ones BACK after he fetches them. :)
