eyeshadow!

I want to link you guys to my new favorite community here on DW: eyeshadow! I posted last night; there are pictures of various eyeshadows I've done in the past. Some of my favorites. Anyway, I'm SO looking forward to seeing what everyone posts.

In other news, I have a Dillard's gift card that I got for Mother's Day, and I'm thinking I need a good bright purple eyeshadow, and possibly a nice copper liner. MAC counter, here I come!

Link, eyeshadow, Stargate, and Ganon!

Minor league pitcher lands a home at an assisted living facility. This is a really cute, kinda heartwarming story. You rarely find those. It also reveals something I didn't realize: those in minor league baseball teams sometimes live with host families. Interesting.

So I did not get a copper liner or a purple eyeshadow. I had Ganon with me and he was beginning to get crabby, so browsing the eyeshadows was out. However, I did get to test several of the eyeliners, and instead of a copper one (there was too much pink in it), I chose a nice bronze one. Very pretty, and I think it will go very nicely when I wear warmer eyeshadows. The whole "fire goddess" look with the orange/yellow/red will look very good with a bronze shadow.

Ganon did the funniest thing today: he was talking to me while I buckled him into his carseat, and suddenly he started staring at me. I saw quickly that he wasn't staring AT me, but more like...just in front of me? He goes "Ganon" and wriggled his fingers in front of his face...and I realized he was seeing his reflection in my highly mirrored sunglasses! It was HILARIOUS! I just love having a little human.

OH WOW. You wanna talk about some weather geeks? I gotcher weather geeks right here. That is just an incredible tornado research project. SO COOL.
